Randomness & Venting, anyone?

So, again I have to say - it's been a while. Life just feels busy sometimes, doesn't it? And yet I feel like I get nothing accomplished! It gets very frusterating. Anyway, so today I went to the doctor because I have been having BAD stomach pain and just not feeling well. She said it's either my appendix or I have a kidney stone. I have a CT scan in the morning. I have to drink that nasty contrast stuff too. Twice. NOT COOL! I am hoping for the stone since we don't have insurance at the moment. If it's my appendix - I am ticked! I have a very important job interview on friday and I will be so sad if I miss it. Plus, I have at least 2 but possibly more softball games this week too. GRRRR! Not good timing to feel crappy!
Ok enough self pity. Owen starts school tomorrow! He has already asked me when next summer starts. Wow - he really is MY son!! No, he is excited though. It will be interesting to see how different one teacher is from the next. We were VERY spoiled with Mrs. Montgomery. She was the best teacher ever! In fact, she created a teaching method for reading that was published this summer. I am going to miss her.
Syd is excited to start preschool this year too. She can't wait to be one of the "big kids" and be in school.
Our family decided to go as the cast of Phineas and Ferb for Halloween. O is Phineas, I am the mom, Syd is either Candace or Isabella, Daxx is Perry, Spencer is probably Ferb (unless we can get our neighbor Gavin to be him) and Scott is Dufensmurtz. So Syd told me today that Dad will make a great "Douchensmurtz"!!! I love it! How funny and she is so innocent.
Daxx is a TERROR!!! I don't know what to do with him. He is either climbing anywhere he can (usually in the sink), or grumpy. In his defense I think he is getting eye teeth. But he is getting into everything all the time and has no comprehension of the word no no! I take that back, he fully understands it, he just doesn't care. It's driving me completely insane!! I literally cn't turn around or even pee for that matter without a huge mess he's just created to clean up. It's completely out of control!
Sorry about the venting session but it's got to happen, right?!
